Why It Is Hard For Me To Gain Followers

Most other artists that I follow have a recognizable style. People find something they like and can expect to like the following posts of the same artist. While I make a conscious effort at this stage of my art exploration to keep changing the types of things that I present.

With my work, you may love some things I do and hate others. Not a good way to attact and keep followers.

Perhaps some day I will become famous and feel a financial pull to paint similar looking images. Just the way that famous bands and singers are constantly pressured to perform their well know songs over and over.

But one of the reasons that I enjoy creating is the infinte possibilities. There is a lot of “signature” to my pieces because of the techniques I favore. Blending layers and and prefering saturated high contrast is one way to recognize me. But without a more consistant pallet and subject matter, it is tougher than with others that I follow to recognize me by my paintings.
