Skiing an Altered Version of Paradise

One of our favorite ski resorts is Red Lodge Mountain Montana. It is small and seldom has lines for any of the lifts. The run pictured (and digitally altered) is aptly called Paradise. The rock formations in the background are called Palisades and that is also the name of the lift that serves this run. The Palisades lift just opened for this season last week. It is lower on the mountain and in a location that usually does not have enough snow early in the season. All of the other runs served by this lift appear to still have marginal snow cover. We tried Columbine run which at least does not have little tree tops showing, but the cover was still too thin or icy.
